September 12th is Space Day in Japan, and Google has updated the Street View portion of Google Maps with high resolution scans of Japan's space technology . A Google blog post explains that two of Japan’s top scientific institutions, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), are available for viewing online.
